Dr. David Palestrant is currently Director of Neurocritical Care and Director of the Stroke Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

His commitment to neurological care for the underserved is reflected in his extensive international volunteer work, including serving as Neurology Instructor, Health Volunteers Overseas, Uganda, Co-Chair of Students for a Broader Perspective, and membership in Health Policy Student Interest Group (HPSIG). Dr. Palestrant has also been involved in direct service work at the Nogales Pediatric Clinic and Refugee Clinic of the Commitment to Underserved People (CUP).
